A Manassas man faces multiple charges, including driving while intoxicated, after colliding with an unoccupied vehicle and fleeing the scene on foot, reports the Manassas Patch.
Caspian Place resident Rozier Daunte Danley, 36, was driving near Prince William County
Parkway and Hastings Drive at around midnight on Saturday when a Prince William County Police Officer attempted to pull him over on suspicion of drunk driving.
According to police, Danley ignored the officer and continued to drive towards Caspian Place when he struck an empty vehicle.
After the accident, Danley exited his vehicle and attempted to outrun the police officers on foot. Police eventually arrested him at his home on Caspian Place.
Danley has been charged with DUI (third offense in 10 years), driving on a revoked license, eluding, hit and run, unreasonable refusal, and resisting arrest.
